Jennifer Bender is a seasoned investment strategist with extensive experience in the financial sector. Currently serving as Chief Investment Strategist and Global Head of Investment Strategy & Research at State Street Global Advisors since January 2014, Jennifer has held various leadership roles, including Head of Solutions for Systematic Equities and Director of Research for Global Equity Beta Solutions. Prior to this, Jennifer was Vice President of Applied Research at MSCI Inc. from April 2006 to January 2014, contributing to both Barra Analytics and Index Research. Jennifer's earlier career includes positions as Senior Associate at State Street Associates and Research Assistant at Harvard Business School, alongside being an Economist at Standard & Poor's from 1996 to 2000. Jennifer holds both an MS and a PhD in Economics from Brandeis International Business School, and has further educational affiliations with UMass Boston and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
