Chris Trainor has extensive work experience in finance and executive leadership roles. Chris began their career in 1993 at Kraft Foods Group, where they held various international and North American finance positions and received eight promotions in 17 years. During their time at Kraft, they gained experience in financial planning and analysis, controlling, strategy, tax and treasury, investor relations, corporate audit, supply chain, finance transformation, and working capital management. Chris was identified as a high potential and worked in different regions around the globe.

In 2010, Trainor joined Batesville as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Chris served in this role until 2013 when they were promoted to Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, and Chief Administrative Officer. In 2015, Trainor was appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of Batesville, a position they currently hold.

Chris Trainor has an MBA from the University of Liverpool, completed an Accounting Foundation program at the University of Derby, and obtained an ACMA degree in Accounting from the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants. Prior to this, they attended ST Benedict's High School Whitehaven from 1981 to 1988.
