Amber Cefalu

Amber Cefalu has extensive experience in administrative and financial roles, currently serving as the Membership and Events Coordinator and Executive Assistant at the Baton Rouge Area Foundation since May 2012. In this position, Amber Cefalu is responsible for producing information through various functions, facilitating executive tasks, and managing correspondence. Prior to this, Amber Cefalu worked as a FEMA Accountant Specialist for the Recovery School District, where responsibilities included establishing accounting structures and reconciling transactions for grants. Amber Cefalu's career also includes a role as a Budget Analyst III with the Louisiana Department of Education, focusing on maintaining records for grant awards and educating personnel on funding management. Amber Cefalu holds a Bachelor's degree in Family and Consumer Sciences/Human Sciences from Southeastern Louisiana University, obtained in 2006.
