Dan Fisher

Dan Fisher is an experienced professional in the entertainment industry, currently serving as EVP of North American Distribution at VMI Worldwide since July 2023, and as Principal at Poppy Pictures since November 2018. Fisher has held various academic positions, including Adjunct Faculty at Baton Rouge Community College and Kent State University, and a Visiting Assistant Professor in Film at Kenyon College. Notable previous roles include Vice President at Freestyle Digital Media, Senior Director of Acquisitions at Gravitas Ventures, and Director of Worldwide Acquisitions at Entertainment One. Fisher holds an M.A. in Critical Studies from the University of Southern California and a B.A. in Art History from the University of Notre Dame.
