Alexander Roth has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Alexander is currently working as the Head of Engineering at Baton since 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Reonomy from 2019 to 2022, starting as a Software Engineer and later transitioning to Engineering Manager and Director of Backend Engineering roles. Alexander also worked as a Software Engineering Intern at Testfire Inc, where they co-wrote test suites and implemented UI redesigns for SDKs.
Alexander's work experience began as a Teaching Assistant at Columbia University in the City of New York, where they assisted students, graded assignments and exams, and held office hours. Alexander also worked as a Student Software Developer at Columbia University Information Technology, contributing to the development of the Courseworks mobile application and leading upgrades to security systems.
Early in their career, Alexander worked as an Actuarial Database Technician at Starr Companies, providing technical assistance and support to the ADB development team. Alexander also organized libraries, documentation, and created tutorials for the actuarial database team during their time there.
Alexander Roth pursued their education from 2012 to 2016 at Columbia University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Computer Science.
