Colby Adams

Colby Adams is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in environmental health and research management. Currently serving as the Research Excellence Manager at Idaho National Laboratory since October 2020, Colby Adams supports researchers focused on clean energy and leads a team responsible for program evaluations and communications. Previously, Colby Adams held the position of Environmental Health Director at the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare, where direction of environmental health programs aimed to protect the public from hazards. With a background as Director of Engineering, Research and Development Services at ERP International and significant roles in the United States Air Force related to medical service research, Colby Adams has developed a strong proficiency in project management and customer-focused solutions. Educational credentials include a Ph.D. and a Master's in Environmental Health Science from Colorado State University and a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering from South Dakota Mines.
