Gus Drake

Gus Drake, PE, is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in mechanical and facility engineering. Currently serving as Lead Facility Engineer and Senior System Engineer at Idaho National Laboratory since December 2020, Gus specializes in mechanical design for industrial power generation, focusing on process design and overall plant layout. Prior to this, Gus worked at POWER Engineers from March 2008 to December 2020 as a Mechanical Engineer IV, where responsibilities included P&ID development and equipment specifications. Earlier roles included Production Supervisor at ConAgra Foods and Active Learning Facilitator at Boise State University, where Gus supported student learning in mathematics. Gus holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Boise State University, obtained in 2007.
