M. Grace Burke is a seasoned metallurgical engineer with extensive experience in both academia and national laboratories. Currently serving as an INL Laboratory Fellow at Idaho National Laboratory since March 2023, Burke has held a range of prestigious roles, including Professor Emeritus and Professor and Director of the Materials Performance Centre at the University of Manchester since September 2011. In prior positions, Burke was a Corporate Fellow and Distinguished R&D Staff at Oak Ridge National Laboratory from October 2021 to March 2023, and a Consultant Engineer at Bettis Laboratory from 1994 to 2011, following various engineering roles at Westinghouse Electric Corp. from 1987 to 1994. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Metallurgy from Imperial College London and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Metallurgical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh.
