Robert Lois

Robert Lois is a Graduate Research Fellow at Idaho National Laboratory, focusing on lattice-based cryptosystems for embedded and cloud-based control systems, and has significant experience in high assurance software for cyber-physical systems. Prior roles include Graduate Research Assistant positions at both the University of Pittsburgh and the Cybersecurity Manufacturing Innovation Institute, where research centered on formal methods for cybersecurity in control applications. Robert Lois has held engineering positions at Westinghouse Electric Company and AREVA NP, contributing to the design and implementation of nuclear plant control systems and ensuring compliance with rigorous safety standards. Robert Lois holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering, a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, and Bachelor's degrees in Electrical Engineering and Physics from the University of Pittsburgh and Duquesne University, respectively.
