Robert "Rob" Roser, PhD, currently serves as the Chief Information Security Officer and Director of Cyber Security at Idaho National Laboratory, leading a team of 50 and managing a $30M budget for cybersecurity. In addition to this role, Rob holds positions as an Advisory Board Member for Gartner and Boise State University's Institute for Pervasive Cybersecurity, and serves on the board of Savannah River National Laboratory. Previously, Rob worked at Fermilab for over two decades, where accomplishments included serving as Project Scientist for the Long Baseline Neutrino Experiment, attaining the title of Distinguished Scientist, and managing various divisions overseeing extensive groups and budgets. Rob's educational background includes a PhD in Experimental Nuclear and Particle Physics from the University of Chicago, a Master's Degree in Physics from the University of Rochester, and a Bachelor's degree in Physics from the University of Connecticut.
