Michael Darby

Michael Darby, CSEP, serves as the Systems Engineering Group Lead at Battelle Energy Alliance since August 2014, focusing on enhancing RDD&D projects through systems analysis and engineering principles. Prior experience includes roles as a Staff Engineer - Electrical at KAYA Associates, Data Center Facility Supervisor at FORTRUST, and a Math Teacher at BYU-Idaho. Michael has a notable background in the US Navy, with positions such as Assistant Chief for SSBN Inspections and Navigator/Operations Officer aboard submarines. Educational qualifications include an MS in Operations Research from the Naval Postgraduate School and a BS in Nuclear Engineering from Oregon State University.
