Scott Pieratt

Scott Pieratt is a seasoned environmental scientist with extensive experience in strategic consulting and regulatory compliance across various sectors. Currently serving as a Principal Research Scientist at Battelle since March 2023 and as Principal Owner at ALTUS Environmental Consultants LLC since December 2021, Scott has previously held leadership positions, including Principal Scientist at Apex Companies, LLC and Principal Geologist at ALTUS Environmental, LLC. Notable achievements include management of petroleum storage tank projects, regulatory programs at federal facilities, and environmental compliance initiatives at the Transportation Technology Center, Inc. Additionally, Scott has contributed to the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment as the technical lead for underground storage tank cleanups. Scott holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology from Oklahoma State University.
