Stephanie Buehler is a Principal Research Scientist at Battelle, where employment has spanned from 2003 to the present. Prior to this, Buehler worked as a Research Scientist at the same organization. Between 1996 and 1998, Buehler served as a Chemistry Laboratory Instructor at The Ohio State University, leading laboratory classes and providing academic support to students. Buehler's early research as an undergraduate focused on characterizing the molecular conformations of trehalose, a disaccharide sugar relevant to the survival of certain organisms under dehydration. Academically, Buehler earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Environmental Chemistry from Indiana University Bloomington from 1998 to 2003, and obtained dual Bachelor's degrees in Music and Chemistry from The Ohio State University in 1998.
