Joachim Schaeffer

Joachim Schaeffer is currently working as a Technical Advisor at Third Polaris and an Ambassador at Battery Associates. Previously, Joachim was the BatteryDEV Lead at BatteryDEV, where they organized a hackathon and focused on battery data analytics. As a Co-Founder of the Autonomous River Cleanup Project, Joachim worked on developing autonomous solutions to clean up plastic pollution from rivers. They also have experience as a Project Engineer at DNV GL and as a Kitesurfing coach at Wassersportcenter XH2O. Joachim is currently pursuing a PhD on Lithium-Ion Batteries and Machine Learning at Technische Universität Darmstadt after completing their Master's Thesis at Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
