Rene Bonvanie is an experienced professional currently serving as an Executive In Residence at Battery Ventures since August 2020, where responsibilities include consulting for the investment team on portfolio companies. In addition, Rene holds several independent board member positions at notable companies such as Nomios, Sigma Computing, Acronis, Collibra, Guardsquare, and Bitwarden, focusing on enhancing security and data management solutions. As the Executive Chairman of the Board at Ordr Inc., Rene leads efforts to simplify connected device security. Since April 2018, Rene has been a member of Cyberstarts VC and serves as an advisor to Fireblocks, which streamlines financial operations. Rene holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, earned between September 1979 and May 1985.
