Ramkumar Krishnan

Ramkumar Krishnan is a Technical & Business Advisor at BattGenie and has over 15 years of experience in the energy storage industry. Ramkumar has held various positions at different companies, including Technical Advisor, Board Member, Entrepreneur In Residence, and President and CTO.

Krishnan began their career as a CTO at Fluidic Energy, where they were responsible for commercializing the world’s first embedded intelligent controls in a battery cell and delivering automated Energy-as-a-Service capability to customers. Under their leadership, Fluidic Energy became a leading provider of low levelized cost and integrated intelligence, paving the way for the smart, sustainable grid of the future.

In 2018, Krishnan joined NantEnergy as President and CTO. In this role, they were responsible for the company’s technology roadmap and led the development of their next generation of batteries. Krishnan also served on the board of the California Energy Storage Alliance during their time at NantEnergy.

Krishnan is currently a Technical & Business Advisor at BattGenie, where they are using their extensive knowledge and experience in the energy storage industry to help the company grow and succeed.

Ramkumar Krishnan holds a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Ramkumar also holds an MS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Florida, and a B.Tech in Chemical and Electrochemical Engineering from Central Electrochemical Research Institute.
