Shriram Santhanagopalan

Shriram Santhanagopalan is a technical advisor at BattGenie with a wealth of experience in the energy storage industry. Shriram has held various positions at companies such as the California Energy Storage Alliance, University of Washington, and BattGenie Inc. Most recently, they were the president and CTO of NantEnergy.

Shriram's experience spans across many different aspects of the energy storage industry, from developing battery technology to integrating it into a seamless energy storage solution. Shriram is a team-oriented individual who is passionate about clean, reliable energy and dedicated to redefining and accelerating the worldwide transformation to cost-effective, clean, reliable energy.

Shriram Santhanagopalan received their PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Prior to that, they received their MS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Florida. Shriram started their educational career with a B.Tech in Chemical and Electrochemical Engineering from the Central Electrochemical Research Institute.
