Bastiaan Meulblok

Bastiaan Meulblok has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Bastiaan is currently working as the Production Engineering Manager at Battolyser Systems since October 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Secretary at Nobel Award (onderdeel Stichting Grote Prijs vd Bollenstreek) since January 2013.

Meulblok's longest tenure was at Promolding BV, where they held multiple positions over the years. Bastiaan worked as the Manager of the product development department a.i. from December 2021 to October 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Chief Operating Officer / Manager Operations from October 2020 to October 2022. Before moving to managerial positions, Meulblok worked as a Senior Design Engineer from January 2015 to October 2020, specializing in system level design of optical strain-based sensors and ensuring manufacturability and overall quality. Bastiaan also worked as a Design Engineer (July 2009 to December 2014) and completed an internship as part of their graduation (February 2009 to June 2009) at Promolding BV.

Meulblok also gained experience in other companies. Bastiaan worked as a System Engineer at Somni Solutions from November 2017 to January 2021. Before that, they were a Designer at Dimarco from January 2008 to January 2009. Additionally, they served as the Chairman at OJC Magnifiosi from January 1995 to January 2006.

Bastiaan Meulblok obtained their Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design from De Haagse Hogeschool / The Hague University of Applied Sciences, where they studied from 2005 to 2009. In addition to their formal education, they also hold several certifications. These include Design Principles Basics, System Architect(ing), Applied Optics, and Tribology, which were obtained from the Dutch Society for Precision Engineering in 2016, 2015, 2014, and 2013 respectively. Bastiaan has also received multiple certifications in fire fighting, evacuation, and first aid from NIBHV (Nederlands Instituut voor Bedrijfshulpverlening en veiligheid) in the years 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, and 2015.
