Hugh Flanagan

Hugh Flanagan is a dedicated mental health professional currently serving as a Mental Health Support Worker at SANE since February 2024, while also holding the position of Executive Youth Advisor at headspace since May 2021. Hugh actively contributes to the headspace Youth National Reference Group, working alongside young people across Australia to enhance the quality of services provided by headspace. Additionally, Hugh has experience as a Batyr Speaker since April 2020, as well as volunteer and administrative roles with Eastern Health and Orygen, respectively. Previous experiences include a research internship at Alfred Health and a Talent Management Officer position at AIESEC, an organization focused on youth leadership development. Hugh began a career in youth engagement as a Lifeguard at Xavier College from February 2018 to November 2019 and holds dual Bachelor's degrees in Psychology and History from Monash University, earned between 2018 and 2022.
