Katarina Szulenyiova has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Katarina is currently serving as the Chief People Officer at Baubap, a position they have held since February 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Platzi from January 2021 to February 2022 as the Head of Platzi Master, where they trained and supported web developers in entering and succeeding in the tech sector. Before their time at Platzi, Katarina worked at Seedstars from 2014 to 2020, holding multiple roles including Educational Program Manager, Growth Program Manager, Product Manager, Head of Operations, and Asia Regional Manager. Katarina also briefly served as an Entrepreneur in Residence at Tandemic in 2014. Earlier in their career, they gained experience as a Project Coordinator at United Planet in 2013, an Assistant at the Permanent Mission of Slovakia to the UN in 2012, a Research Assistant at the Jerusalem Center for Public Affairs in 2012, an Information Coder at Leiden University in 2012, and an Intern at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Slovak Republic in 2012.
Katarina Szulenyiova has a Master of Science (MSc) in International Relations and Affairs, which they obtained from Leiden University from 2011 to 2012. Prior to that, they attended Sheffield Hallam University from 2010 to 2011, where they pursued studies in Political Science and Government. Katarina also holds a Bachelor's degree in International Relations and Affairs, earned from Matej Bel University between 2008 and 2011. In addition to their formal education, Katarina obtained additional certifications in Global Health: Case Studies from a Biosocial Perspective from edX in May 2014, and The Challenges of Global Poverty from edX in January 2013.
