Dr. Gerald Mai joined Bauer Media in 2006. As General Counsel, he successfully built up the legal department of the Business Unit Germany from scratch. Over the years, he has successfully represented the company in fundamental court decisions and helped shape the necessary changes in press wholesale. Since 2019, he has been a member of the Global Management Team as Group General Counsel. He established a global IP/trademark system and was responsible for numerous international M&A transactions. Since 2021, he has been a member of the Executive Board as Chief Legal Officer. He is responsible for Legal and Compliance to safeguard the transformation of the business together with his team of experts.
