CTO at Bauerfeind

Katharina Dietrich has extensive work experience in various companies and roles. Katharina currently serves as the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Bauerfeind AG since September 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Sonova AG from January 2020 to August 2022 as the Continuous Improvement Leader for EMEA. From May 2019 to December 2019, they were a Program Manager at ABB Power Grids High Voltage, and from July 2018 to April 2019, they held the position of Vice President Global Continuous Improvement at ABB Power Grids Division.

Before joining ABB, Katharina worked at Dentsply Sirona from August 2017 to June 2018, first as the Global Director Operational Excellence and then as the Director Operational Excellence from February 2016 to July 2017 at Dentsply Sirona Inc. Prior to that, they were the Quality Manager International & Supply at Sirona Dental Systems GmbH from June 2015 to January 2016.

Katharina has also worked at Sirona Dental Services GmbH, where they held two roles. From February 2014 to May 2015, they served as the Operational Excellence Project Manager, and from February 2012 to January 2014, they were the Manufacturing Excellence Leader.

Katharina'searlier experience includes working as the Danaher Business System Leader at Leica Biosystems from October 2008 to January 2012 and as a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt at TE Connectivity from October 2001 to September 2008.

Katharina Dietrich has a diverse education history. Katharina obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Executive studies from the University of Applied Sciences Ludwigshafen between 2007 and 2010. Prior to that, they pursued a Mechatronik expert degree at IHK Koblenz from 2003 to 2004. In their earlier years, they attended the Technical University of Brasov, where they completed their Diplom degree in Mechanical engineering from 1989 to 1994.

Along with their formal education, Katharina Dietrich also possesses several additional certifications. In 2009, they obtained a Master Black Belt certification from Danaher, and in 2006, they acquired a Six Sigma Black Belt certification from TE. Katharina also earned a Lean Leader certification in April 2006, though the institution from which they obtained it is unspecified.
