Sophie Morneau

Sophie Morneau's work experience includes holding various roles at different companies in chronological order.

From 1995 to 1997, they worked at Plastilec as the Director of Quality. From 1997 to 2002, they worked at Hydro Québec as a Research Engineer.

Starting in 2002, Sophie joined Stratek Plastics where they initially worked as a Consultant from March to December. Sophie then became the Laboratory Manager from January 2003 to March 2007.

In 2007, Sophie started working at Emerson Automation Solutions. Sophie held multiple positions, including Manager of Applications Laboratory from April 2007 to October 2010, Director of Applications & Tooling Engineering from November 2010 to May 2015, Director of Global Application Engineering from June 2015 to October 2017, and finally Director of Global Strategic Accounts from November 2017 to June 2022.

Currently, Sophie is employed at Baumer Group where they hold the role of Strategic Market Manager - Americas since June 2022. Sophie is also the President of Baumer Group's North America division since January 2023.

Sophie Morneau obtained an Associate's degree in Electronics from Collège Montmorency in 1989. Sophie then went on to complete a Bachelor's degree in Materials Engineering at Polytechnique Montréal from 1989 to 1993. Following that, they pursued a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering at Polytechnique Montréal from 1993 to 1995.
