Shankar Swaminathan

Shankar Swaminathan is an accomplished professional in the field of regulatory affairs, currently serving as Head of Global Regulatory Affairs CMC at Bausch Health Companies Inc. since March 2016, where responsibilities include leading a team in managing NDA's and ANDA's, as well as Change Control assessment activities. Previously, Shankar served in various roles at Bausch Health, including Associate Director and Director, focusing on CMC aspects of product development and managing career growth for direct reports. Earlier experience includes positions at Bausch + Lomb and Bristol-Myers Squibb, where Shankar provided CMC strategies for clinical trials and led oncology candidate projects. Shankar holds a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from the University of Baroda, a postdoctoral degree from Purdue University, and an M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry from Savitribai Phule Pune University.
