Sunny Bhardwaj

Sunny Bhardwaj is an experienced professional in global regulatory affairs and CMC, currently serving as Associate Director at Bausch Health Companies Inc. since October 2021. Previously, Sunny held several roles at Merck from June 2012 to October 2021, including Sr. Scientist, CMC Global Product Lead, where responsibilities included developing and implementing CMC regulatory strategies for global submissions. Additional roles at Merck involved providing regulatory CMC support throughout various product development phases and conducting physicochemical characterization for small molecules and peptides. Prior experience includes a research assistant position at the University of Minnesota, focusing on molecular motions in amorphous pharmaceuticals, and an internship at Boehringer Ingelheim working on formulation parameters for nanosuspensions. Sunny holds a PhD in Pharmaceutics from the University of Minnesota, an M.S. in Pharmaceutical Analysis from the National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research, and a B. Pharmacy from Delhi University.
