Ekaterina Reck's work experience begins in 1998 when they worked as a Radio Journalist at М 94,5 University Radio Station. From 1999 to 2004, they held various communications positions at Siemens AG and Siemens Inc. in Moscow, Russia, where they developed corporate Intranet sites, supported global advertising campaigns, and executed online communications strategies.

In 2005 and 2006, Reck worked as a Digital Communications Manager at Siemens Healthineers. From 2007 to 2016, they were a Sr. Manager of Digital & Social Media at Novartis, responsible for the development and execution of strategies and governance for corporate social and digital media channels.

Starting in 2016, Reck joined Takeda, where they served as the Global Head of Communications for Global Manufacturing, Supply, and Quality, providing support and consultancy for strategic communications, employee/ HR/ change communications, issues communications, event management, and content creation. Ekaterina then took on the role of Director of Digital & Social Engagement for Takeda Region Europe & Canada, as well as overseeing internal and external communications for Takeda HQ in Zurich.

In 2021, Reck became the Director of Web & Search Marketing at Kardex, where they held the position until 2023. Currently, they are the Head of Digital Marketing at Bavarian Nordic.

Ekaterina Reck obtained a Magister Artium degree from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München. Ekaterina pursued a major in Communications & Media Science and also had minors in Psychology and History of Art. The specific start and end years of their education were not provided.
