Lee Ann Kimak has extensive experience in the biotech and pharmaceutical industries. Lee Ann currently holds the position of US Commercial Lead at Bavarian Nordic, where they have been responsible for successfully transitioning a vaccine from GSK to BN. Lee Ann also built and created the commercial organization, infrastructure, and roadmap for the company.

Prior to their role at Bavarian Nordic, Kimak worked at Pfizer for several years. Lee Ann served as the Vice President of Global Marketing & Commercial Development, overseeing the Meningococcal Vaccines Franchise. During their tenure, they grew the portfolio to $500M in just three years. Lee Ann also held the position of Global Strategy, Commercial Development & Marketing Lead for Vaccines at Pfizer, where they led a cross-functional global team and successfully launched the first Meningitis B vaccine in the US.

Before joining Pfizer, Kimak was the Executive Director of Premarin Products at Wyeth Pharmaceuticals, where they managed a $1.2B women's healthcare product family. Lee Ann also held the role of Chief of Staff for US Pharmaceuticals at Wyeth, where they provided strategic and operational leadership for a $9B US commercial structure.

Earlier in their career, Kimak worked at Wyeth as a Senior Director of Web Strategy and Integrated Marketing, overseeing the re-launch of the Wyeth website and the launch of a healthcare professional portal. Lee Ann also served as the Commercial Development Director at Bracco, where they led a global team in defining the commercialization strategy for a late Phase 3 drug.

Kimak began their career at Johnson & Johnson, where they were initially recruited as a Senior Scientist but quickly moved into marketing roles. Lee Ann was selected for J&J's management development program and served as an eBusiness Lead, defining the eBusiness strategy across 13 different J&J companies and launching the J&J Gateway.

Lee Ann Kimak has a diverse educational background. In 1984, they attended Saint Vincent College, where they studied Chemistry. After completing their undergraduate studies, Lee Ann attended Fairleigh Dickinson University from 1998 to 2000, where they obtained their MBA with a focus on Pharmaceutical Marketing. Later, they pursued a BA in Psychology at Rutgers University from 2000 to 2001. Lee Ann's education continued at Concord Law School at Purdue University Global, where they earned their JD in Health Law from 2005 to 2008. Lee Ann'smost recent educational endeavor took place in 2019 when they attended the Yale School of Management, earning a Certificate in Digital Marketing.
