Julie Waterplas

Julie Waterplas has a diverse work experience starting in 2014. Julie began their career as a Marketing and Communication Assistant (Internship) at Sodexo in June 2014 and stayed until July 2014. After that, they joined Sodexo again as a Sales Support Coordinator in September 2014, where they remained until October 2017. From October 2017 to September 2019, they held the role of Marketeer Government Benelux & Universities Netherlands at Sodexo. Julie then transitioned to the position of Marketing Manager Government Services from September 2019 to September 2020. Later, they became the Digital Marketing & Communication Manager at Sodexo from September 2020 to November 2021. Currently, they are the Marketing Manager at BAVET, starting in August 2021.

Julie Waterplas has a diverse education history. In 2004, they completed their ASO degree in Moderne Talen Wetenschappen at the Sint-Vincentiuscollege Buggenhout. Julie then went on to Ghent University, where they earned an Academische Bachelor in Toegepaste Taalkunde Nederlands-Frans-Spaans from 2009 to 2013. Julie continued their studies at Ghent University and obtained a Master of Arts (MA) in Meertalige communicatie Nederlands-Frans-Spaans from 2013 to 2014. Julie'seducation journey didn't stop there, as in 2021, they attended Vlerick Business School for a Marketing Leadership Masterclass. Most recently, in 2022, Julie completed the Masterclass Start To Lead at Antwerp Management School.
