Vanessa Adato

Vanessa Adato has extensive experience in arts administration, currently serving as Senior Director of Finance & Administration and previously as Interim Executive Director at BAX | Brooklyn Arts Exchange since January 1998. Vanessa also held roles of Managing Director and General Manager at BAX. From 2011 to July 2020, Vanessa served as Board Treasurer for Shannon Hummel/Cora Dance & Cora School for Dance. Earlier in career, Vanessa was the International & Special Projects Administrator at American Dance Festival Inc from 1994 to 1998. Vanessa earned a BFA in Dance from New York University Tisch School of the Arts and has a background in education from New Rochelle High School and Purchase College, SUNY.
