Lorena Axinte

Lorena Axinte is a Senior Mobility Consultant at Bax since January 2021 and a Researcher & Contributor at InfoClima.ro since August 2020. Lorena served as a Research Associate and Marie Curie Researcher at Cardiff University's Sustainable Places Research Institute from April 2016 to December 2021, focusing on city-regional governance, integrated transport systems, and stakeholder engagement. Previous roles include EIT Food RIS Fellow, Community Host at Impact Hub Budapest, and Co-Founder of The WasteLab, which was a semi-finalist in the 2018 European Social Innovation Competition. Lorena's early experience includes data analysis for the Copenhagenize Design Company and cartography research at PropertyShark. Lorena holds a PhD in Geography and Planning from Cardiff University and a 4Cities Euromaster in Urban Studies from Université libre de Bruxelles, among other qualifications.
