Anand Sampath P.e.

Anand Sampath, P.E. is an experienced civil engineer with a diverse background in project management and construction oversight. Currently serving as the Construction Transportation Assistant Department Manager at Baxter & Woodman since July 2023, Anand manages a team of 20 engineers. In addition, Anand holds the position of Board Vice President and Treasurer for the Illinois Asian American Civil Engineers since March 2023. Previous roles include Senior Project Manager and Department Manager at ECS Limited, and Department Manager and Project Engineer at Bloom Companies, LLC, where responsibilities included daily construction management and project engineering. Anand began the career as a Staff Engineer at K Singh & Associates, focusing on cost management, quality assurance, and project coordination. Early academic experience includes a Graduate Research Assistant role at the University of Iowa, researching Warm Mix Asphalt properties. Anand holds an MS in Civil Engineering from the University of Iowa and a BE in Engineering from Anna University Chennai.
