Wendy Saffell-Clemmer

Wendy Saffell-Clemmer is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, currently serving as Vice President of Global Pharmaceuticals Strategy, Portfolio and Business Development at Baxter International Inc. since June 2002. Wendy has held various leadership roles, including Sr. Director of Global Pharma Business Operations and BPS R&D, where improvements in the S&OP process contributed to enhanced forecast accuracy and on-time delivery. As Lead Scientist and Sr. Director, Wendy played a pivotal role in fostering a global community of scientists and overseeing the execution of pan-Baxter initiatives. Prior to Baxter, Wendy served as Assistant Senior Biochemist at Eli Lilly, where analytical strategies for recombinant protein products were developed and implemented. Wendy holds an MS in Chemistry from Northwestern University and a BS in Chemistry from the University of Virginia.
