Song Bai currently serves as the Director of the Assessment, Inventory, and Modeling Division at the Bay Area Air Quality Management District, a position held since July 2019, after previously managing Emissions & Community Exposure Assessment. Prior to this role, Song Bai worked at Sonoma Technology, Inc. from October 2008 to June 2019 as Division Manager of Environmental Modeling, focusing on mobile source emissions modeling and various assessments related to air quality and greenhouse gas emissions. Song Bai holds a Ph.D. in Civil and Environmental Engineering and a Master’s degree in Statistics from the University of California, Davis, along with a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from Tsinghua University.
