Vesta Bell, ASW, currently serves as a Clinical Care Coordinator at Bay Area Community Services since May 2021, while also co-founding HairwayBeautyCo, an online beauty supply company specializing in Black-owned hair, skin, and beauty products. Previous experience includes roles as a Housing Navigator and Social Worker at The Salvation Army USA Western Territory from April 2020 to April 2021, and a Sales Representative at AT&T from November 2017 to May 2019. Earlier in the career, Vesta worked as a Community Service Officer at UCPD, gaining experience in police codes and campus safety. Vesta holds a Master of Social Work (MSW) from Azusa Pacific University, complemented by a Post Baccalaureate in Psychology and Social Behavior from UC Irvine, a Bachelor's Degree in Media and Cultural Studies from the University of California, Riverside, and an Associate’s Degree in Social Sciences from Laney College.

We are helping people experiencing mental health needs or housing crises, while balancing other complications like health needs, substance use, generational trauma, incarceration, poverty, and more. BACS does “whatever it takes” to create programs that meet community needs, integrating nearly seven decades of behavioral health expertise with our Housing First philosophy.
