Clinical Laboratory Scientist at Alameda Health System

Victoria Partida-Young has a diverse range of work experience, primarily in the field of clinical laboratory science. Victoria is currently working as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist at Alameda Health System, a position they have held since March 2020. Before that, they worked at VRL Eurofins Laboratories as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist from June 2019 to January 2020. Prior to pursuing a career in healthcare, Victoria worked as an Office Clerk at R&B Wholesale Distributors, Inc. from July 2014 to August 2016, where they managed office filing, ensured timely package delivery to customers, and entered order details into a system called Southware.

Victoria has also gained experience through internships and volunteer roles. Victoria was a Summer Research Intern at UC Berkeley in June 2015. From November 2013 to August 2015, they worked as a Tutor at The Community College Foundation. Additionally, they served as a Child Minder at Harbor Bay Club from August 2012 to June 2014.

Victoria Partida-Young's education history begins with their high school education at Arroyo High School, where they obtained their high school diploma from 2007 to 2011. After completing high school, they attended UC Irvine in 2011, where they studied biological sciences, although no degree was obtained at that time. Victoria then enrolled at Chabot College from 2012 to 2014 and earned an Associate's Degree in Biology. Following that, they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Microbiology from California State University - East Bay, which they completed from 2015 to 2017. In 2018, they attended San Jose State University and obtained a Certificate in Clinical Laboratory Science/Medical Technology/Technologist in 2019. Their additional certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist (ASCP-MLS) was achieved from the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) in March 2019.
