Peter Leroe-Muñoz

Peter Leroe-Muñoz, Esq. currently serves as General Counsel and SVP of Technology & Innovation at the Bay Area Council, a position held since September 2025. With extensive experience in legal and policy roles, Peter has provided legal advice to C-level executives as an Angel Advisor and Investor since January 2017. Prior to this, Peter was the General Counsel and SVP at the Silicon Valley Leadership Group from May 2015 to September 2025 and the first In-House Counsel at Dale Scott & Company. Other notable roles include City Councilmember for the City of Gilroy and Deputy District Attorney for the County of San Benito. Educational credentials include a B.S. in Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Juris Doctorate from Harvard Law School.
