Lisa Smithey

Lisa Smithey has extensive experience in membership and visitor services, currently serving as the Manager of Membership and Visitor Services at the Bay Area Discovery Museum since June 2021, following roles as Assistant Manager, Coordinator, and Assistant in the same department. Prior to this, Lisa worked at Cake Art Supplies from March 2017 to August 2020 as an Administrative Assistant, Workshop Instructor, and Sales Associate. Additional experience includes serving as a Studio Assistant at Terra Linda Ceramic Artists and as a Production Assistant at Behmke Reporting and Video Services, Inc. Lisa holds a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) from UCL's Slade School of Fine Art and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Fine and Studio Arts from UC Santa Barbara.
