Laura Ruelas is a seasoned professional with a diverse background in research support, executive administration, and diversity leadership. Currently serving as a Diversity & Inclusion Advisory Committee Member for the Science Directorate at NASA Ames Research Center and as a Research Support Specialist at Bay Area Environmental Research Institute, Laura has previously held significant roles at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory and Cisco. At Cisco, Laura excelled in multiple positions, including Chief of Staff and Director of Marketing and Communications, while leading initiatives to enhance diversity and professional development. Laura's career spans various organizations, bringing expertise in strategic planning, event coordination, executive support, and community engagement. Academic credentials include a Bachelor's degree in Business Management from the University of Phoenix and an Associate's degree in General Studies/Psychology from Evergreen Valley Community College.
