Mary Jo Cooper

Mary Jo Cooper has been directing Bay Cove's Developmental Services since 2004. She joined Bay Cove in 1987 as a case manager in Mental Health Services, before making the move to Developmental Services as a clinician. In 1993, she utilized her experience in serving individuals with both developmental and psychiatric disabilities to develop and run group residences for people whose care was funded by the Department of Developmental Services, but whose primary diagnoses required mental health services.

Mary Jo graduated from George Washington University with a master's degree in Experimental and Developmental Psychology. She is a past chair of the NuPath Board of Directors, and has been involved in several statewide committees and panels on Industry Standards, Trends and Best Practices.
