Leslie Brown is currently the Director at Bay State Community Services, Inc. Leslie has over 25 years of experience in telecommunications and fiber optics networks, contract negotiation, corporate governance, litigation, and regulatory compliance.
Leslie started their career in 1993 as the Vice President, Law and Public Policy, Northeast Region for Adelphia Communications Corporation. Leslie was responsible for all legal and public policy matters in the Northeast Region, which included New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, and Washington D.C.
In 2007, Leslie became the Vice President and Deputy General Counsel for Lightower Fiber Networks. In this role, they established and managed a staff of five legal professionals. Leslie was also responsible for company sale contract processing, corporate governance, litigation, and regulatory compliance. Leslie successfully negotiated many contracts and closed and integrated several acquisitions while at Lightower Fiber Networks.
In 2013, Lightower Fiber Networks was acquired by Crown Castle and Leslie became the Vice President and Deputy General Counsel for Crown Castle. In this role, Leslie was responsible for all legal matters for Crown Castle’s Northeast Region.
Leslie has a Juris Doctor from Northeastern University School of Law and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Vermont.
Leslie Brown has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Political Science from The State University of New York. Leslie also has a Doctor of Law from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. Leslie is certified by the Bar Association of the District of Columbia, Pennsylvania Bar Association, New York State Bar Association, and Massachusetts Bar Association.
