James D. Wilmes

As Executive Vice President of Supply Chain Services, James D. Wilmes oversees the Grain Origination, Commodity Risk Management, Logistics, Quality Assurance, and Co-product Marketing Departments. Mr. Wilmes has thirty-five years of industry experience, of which twenty-eight years have been with Bay State Milling. Before being named to his current position, he served as Executive Vice President of Operations. Mr. Wilmes is a member of the Minneapolis Grain Exchange and is active in committees of the North American Millers Association and the National Grain and Feed Association. Mr. Wilmes graduated from St. John’s University in Collegeville, Minnesota with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics. He did graduate work in Agricultural Economics at Montana State University and completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School.
