Christian Tabano

Project Controls Manager at Bay West

Christian Tabano has over 25 years of experience in project controls and management. Christian began their career in 1994 as a Project Controls at IT Group/Shaw. In 1999, they moved to SAIC as a Project Controls, where they were responsible for evaluating and analyzing contractor schedules, monitoring projects through an earned value system, and generating monthly reports for Project Managers. In 2000, they joined CB&I (formerly Shaw) as a Project Controls Manager, where they were responsible for cost and schedule management for individual and program level environmental engineering, construction, and remediation projects. In 2013, they joined Textron Systems as a Senior Master Program Scheduler, where they were the planning lead for Textron Systems/AAI's transition to Primavera Enterprise system. In 2021, they joined APTIM as a Project Controls Manager. Christian is currently employed at Bay West LLC, where they are tasked with creating project controls procedure that allows better visibility into project/program status, establishing procedure for Primavera Schedule implementation for reporting status, earned value, resource analysis, and forecasting, and training project teams and future staff on the developed procedures.

Christian Tabano received a Bachelor of Science in Biology/Chemistry from Lycoming College between 1990 and 1994. Christian is currently enrolled in the Project Management program at the New Jersey Institute of Technology.
