Britta Nisius

Lab Head Chemoinformatics at Bayer

Britta Nisius possesses extensive experience in computational sciences, currently serving as Lab Head for Chemoinformatics, Data Mining, and Bioinformatics at Bayer Crop Science since August 2014. Prior roles include Senior Scientist in Computer-Aided Drug Design at UCB from August 2012 to August 2014 and Postdoc in Computational Pharmaceutical Chemistry at the University of Düsseldorf, focusing on protein binding site analysis. Nisius also contributed to QSAR model development during a PhD tenure at Bayer HealthCare and engaged in ligand-based virtual screening research at the University of Bonn. Educational qualifications include a Dr. rer. nat. from the University of Bonn and both a Master’s and Bachelor’s in Computational Life Science from the University of Lübeck.
