Cassie Winn

Cassie Winn is a Principal Product Design Scientist at Bayer, specializing in plant breeding. Cassie has a Ph.D. in plant sciences from Iowa State University, where they also served as a Graduate Research Assistant in Crop Growth Modeling and Plant Breeding. Prior to their role at Bayer, Cassie held various positions, including Manager of Breeding R&D at Benson Hill and Corn Breeding Intern at Dow AgroSciences. They began their academic journey at Columbia Basin College, earning an Associate of Arts before completing a B.S. in Genetics and Biotechnology at Brigham Young University.
