Christoph Hofmann

Christoph Hofmann is the SVP Head of Medical Affairs for the Europe, Middle East, and Africa region at Bayer, a position held since 2021. Previously, Christoph worked at Bayer Schering Pharma from 2007 to 2013, where they held several leadership roles in global pharmacovigilance and medical affairs. Christoph began their career in medicine, serving as a physician in gastroenterology and cardiology at City Hospital Zehlendorf from 1993 to 1995. Their early roles in Schering AG from 2000 to 2003 focused on drug safety and medical safety surveillance. Christoph earned a medical license in Human Medicine from Freie Universität Berlin, completing their studies in 1993.
