Dr. Stefan Thoenes

Dr. Stefan Thoenes is the CFO of Bayer Sub-Saharan Africa, having previously served as CFO for Bayer South East Africa and held senior roles in corporate strategy and business transformation at Bayer. With experience as a project leader at The Boston Consulting Group, Dr. Thoenes focused on banking strategy and restructuring. Dr. Thoenes earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Economics from Universität zu Köln and holds a Dipl.-Kfm. in Business Administration from the same institution, along with international finance studies at the University of Sydney. Prior internships include positions at Deloitte and Google.
