Emily Mackay is currently a Program Lead in Manufacturing Science and Technology at Bayer Pharmaceuticals, where they are dedicated to fostering innovation. Previously, Emily held roles as Laboratory Head in Process Research and Development and served as a postdoctoral research scientist at Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster. They also contributed to gender diversity initiatives as a founding partner of GROW Wuppertal. Emily earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Organic Chemistry from The Australian National University and a Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Sciences with First Class Honours from Victoria University of Wellington.
