Gregory Hartmann

Gregory Hartmann is an experienced professional in the field of production technology, currently serving as the Director of Production Technology at Bayer Crop Science since August 2018. In this role, Gregory leads teams focused on improving manufacturing processes, developing innovative tools, and advancing pesticide actives. Prior to this, Gregory held various positions at Monsanto Company from 2000 to August 2018, including Director of Production Technology and Lead of Chemical Process Technology, where responsibilities included enhancing manufacturing processes and supporting a diverse portfolio. Gregory's career began at Southern Illinois University, where a PhD in Organic Chemistry was earned, supplemented by a BS/BA in Chemistry from the University of Southern Indiana.
