Guangning Ye is currently the Product Portfolio IP Lead in Biotechnology at Bayer Crop Science, a position held since 2019. Previously, Guangning held multiple roles at Bayer, including Biotech Patent Science Lead for Collaboration and the Microbial Trait Program. Guangning also accumulated extensive experience at Monsanto, where they led various transformation and patent science initiatives from 2002 to 2012. Earlier in their career, Guangning contributed to significant research projects at Cornell University, focusing on high molecular weight DNA transformation and linkage maps in grapes. Guangning earned a BS in Botany from Nanjing University and a combined MS/PhD in Plant Molecular Biology from Cornell University.
