Hunter R. Merrill

Hunter R. Merrill is a highly experienced data scientist with a strong background in statistical analysis and research. Currently serving as Principal Data Scientist at Bayer since June 2018, Merrill has held multiple roles within the company, including Lead Data Scientist and Senior Data Scientist, following Bayer's acquisition of Climate where Merrill worked as a Senior Data Scientist from May 2017 to June 2018. Prior to this, Merrill was a Geospatial Statistician at the University of Florida from August 2012 to May 2018 and also completed internships and research roles focused on data management and analysis in various academic settings. Merrill holds a Ph.D. in Statistics from the University of Florida, a Master's Degree in Statistics from the same institution, and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Mississippi State University.
